The study is based on secondary data which is collected from Economic and Statistical organisation, China Statistical Year book, World Development Indicators, UN-Habitat, Asian Development Bank etc. Data covers the time period from 1980 to 2016. Average and Standard deviation techniques are used to study the pattern of urbanisation in India and China in different phases.
